Okay I know what you are thinking, "I've already got a profile. Why do I need another one on a different site?" Well first of all, Rockabillyfever isn't just "another site". This is a social network catering to a specific group of people; that group being individuals and musicians who are part of the Rockabilly/Psychobilly scene. There's no need to search through countless profiles hoping to find someone in your area who has similar interests. Chances are you will find exactly who you are looking for within minutes of joining our site. You won't be bombarded by Friend Requests from people just looking to up their counts, but rather the people looking for you will be genuinely interested in the same things as you.
Wondering why our site shares so many similarities with "other" prominent networking sites? The obvious reason would be that they have already created a good template for a networking site. Most people are familiar with those sites and can navigate them with ease so it would make sense that we draw the basic components for Rockabillyfever from them. Our goal, however, is to take that original idea and create a site that is not only user friendly but offers options and tools that make the user's experience on the site even better.
In short, we hope that by creating Rockabillyfever, we can offer the sub-culture community a safe haven on the net to meet like-minded people and discover great new music.
